NE PDX SNOWBOARD TEAM
Registration Instructions 2024-2025
Registration is now open. All steps for riders and volunteers must be completed by November 8, 2024. Register early, as capacity is limited; if we exceed capacity, registration order will determine acceptance.
Team roster announcement is targeted for November 15, 2024.
Rider Requirements
Riders must commit to participating in competitions and should be able to ride confidently and safely. No competition experience is necessary, but riders must:

Fluidly link turns
Keep pace with their group
Registration Steps
Riders (5 steps):
OISA - Complete the form online.
MHM All Access Season Pass - Purchase online. This can be purchased once you have a confirmed spot on the team. Please note that prices may increase. The pass is not refundable.
Meadows Race & Competition Waiver - Complete online and forward confirmation to the team registrar at nepdxsnowboardteam.registrar@gmail.com
Providence Consent Form - Complete online, print, sign, and submit a paper copy. This will need to be mailed to the registrar or turned in at the in-person event (see payment section below for address).
Payment - Pay online or deliver a check in person ($900 per rider).
Volunteers (4 steps):
OISA - Complete the form online
Meadows Race & Competition Waiver - Complete online and forward confirmation to the team registrar at nepdxsnowboardteam.registrar@gmail.com
Providence Consent Form - Complete online, print, sign, and submit a paper copy. This will need to be mailed to the registrar or turned in at the in-person event (see payment section below for address).
PPS Background Check - Complete online and forward confirmation to the team registrar. If you no longer have your volunteer approval email from PPS, please email securityservices@pps.net for a current confirmation email.
Capping and Refunds
Team cap: 50 riders. Registrations will be prioritized by:
Returning riders
Seniors
Juniors
Waitlisted sophomores
New sophomores
Freshmen (in order of registration)
Riders exceeding the cap will be waitlisted or may be offered non-competing positions.
Refund Policy for NE Snowboard Team Fee:
Full refund if you are not offered a team spot.
95% refund if you choose to drop before December 1.
No refunds after December 1.
Payment Options
Pay electronically via Zelle to NEsnowboardteam.treasurer@gmail.com.
Pay by check: Make checks payable to NE PDX Snowboard Team. Deliver at in-person registration on November 6 (6-7:30 PM) at Blind Onion (3345 NE Broadway) or drop off at 1937 NE 37th Ave, Portland, OR 97212 by November 8.
Scholarships
If the $900 fee is a barrier, email northeastsnowboardteam.advisor@gmail.com by November 8 for needs-based scholarship consideration.

In-Person Registration: November 6, 2024 (6 PM -7:30 PM) at Blind Onion- 3345 NE Broadway. Bring your signed Providence Consent form for riders and volunteers.
